Awesome! Have you been telling him about Johnny Appleseed? He was around planting apple trees long before all these grafted trees we have now.

I can't remember how many times I tried to grow apple trees by throwing the seeds out in the yard, I just figured my dad was mowing them over.

How great!!! Just curious - were the apples organic y any chance? I've heard that most varieties of apple seeds (many plants, actually) won't grow well, or at all, if treated with chemicals.
ReplyDeleteOh, and my little guy has planted a few buckeyes to see if they'll grow. I sure hope so!
