Things that go Oh Crud in the night

I try to teach Wee Man to be careful of germs and people that are sick... Yet, I only have so much control (dislike using that word but) over what happens while he is at school... I can not keep other kids from going to school sick... Nor can I keep Wee Man from playing with them...

So, I tell him everyday as soon as we get home... "Wash your hands and then we can get some lunch..." this is usually followed by "NOW... don't touch your sister... stop petting the dogs... Wee Man get-in-the-bathroom and wash your hands"... (and yes I am a little anal about this right now because I can't afford for Lil Kiwi to get sick...)

However, the nasty little germs have their own mind as well... This weekend was a replay of
snot shall fall and be gone evil let this house be clean....

Friday, Wee Man was acting a tad off but nothing really note worthy... Then Saturday morning DH and Wee Man ran an errand and upon returning something was very wrong with him... He was hot and didn't want to eat... Then... oh then he did something that confirmed he was sick... Wee Man...took...a.... NAP!

Yes, you read correctly... A nap... Curled up on the
sumo with daddy's blanket... Plenty of fluids and then off to bed...

The most horrid scream/screech I had ever heard at about 1:30 AM and I knew just what had happened (not going to share all the nasty details) ... Poor Wee Man was apologizing for throwing up in his bed and the whole time I'm cleaning up and telling him it's not his fault...

Then as I am returning to my room I had a thought... Maybe my upset tummy this afternoon was more than an upset tummy... Oh Crud I hope I'm not getting sick...

  1. Oh no! Family sickness is the worst. Hope you're not sick for long and I hope Wee Man is feeling better!
