Wordless Wednesday - Walking to the Mailbox

These are from a few months ago but I just found them and wanted to share. Nothing special but ohhh she loves getting the mail. If only I still got that excited about getting all dressed to get the mail....

By the way, Lil Kiwi looks much better now than she did last week and I will post a recent photo soon. Once again thank you to those that sent their prayers and warm thoughts to us.

    My little granddaughter loves going outside so much. She just begged today though she can neither walk nor talk just yet she made it very clear she wanted to go out when the door opened. We went to look at the bare branches of the tree in the yard and found one dried leaf stuck between two branches and then on closer inspection found the eansiest last little leaf stuck to the tree. It was less than a half inch across. She had just come out of the shower and the rain had slowed to a mist. I showed her the drops of rain clinging to the bushes and told her they had a bath too.

    Whoa...thanks for the link to Lil Kiwi's rash and recovery. As a lifelong allergic person, I empathize, believe me.

    For today's selection of pix, I just love the first one where she's heading down the walkway. I have a real thing for pictures of kids or babies framed from behind them - I love being placed slightly behind the same view as the child, while also being able to see their reaction to the environment.

    My kids love getting the mail, too! I must admit, I look forward to it as well... even though there's usually nothing good in there. That's why signing up for free samples of things is so fun - I love it when there's a little gift just for me in the mailbox!
