Wordless Wednesday - Stopping to smell

During one of the cleaning breaks, the kids and I ran around the yard and I couldn't help but take some flower photos.... Sorry they look all crazy in the layout but blogger is refusing to play nice tonight...

*sniffle* the base yard crew took a weed-eater to my nice clovers now this photo is all I have..

notice anything special in this bunch of clovers?

  2. Those are wonderful shots! I love how dandelions have those tiny little curlicues in the middle. I only discovered them when I started shooting close-ups like that. Sorry your clover patch is so sad now.

  12. I mow my yard for several reasons, not the least of which is because I encourage wildflowers that people always enjoy and remark upon, but would mow over in a minute if they were let loose in the yard.

  17. Blogger can play with the format all it likes when you come up with great macros like this! The alignment doesn't detract from the photos at all.

I was closely studying your clovers, checking for eyeballs or wings, thinking the surprise might have been a camouflaged guest. Then I finally spotted the four-leafer...
